S M Minhazul Haque works at the intersection of laboratory precision and field-level realities. As a Research Associate at the Bangladesh Rice Research Institute (BRRI), Biotechnology Division in Gazipur, he focuses on rice tissue culture, drought-tolerance screening, and marker-based diversity analysis for rice varietal development.
He completed his BSc in Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering at the University of Development Alternative (Dhaka) with a 3.78 / 4.00 CGPA, and now applies a molecular toolkit — tissue culture, callus regeneration, PCR, and marker-assisted selection — to climate-resilient crop improvement.
Beyond the bench, he is co-author on a manuscript under review in the European Journal of Forest Research (Springer Nature) and has presented posters at three international biotechnology conferences across Bangladesh.
